We're Back :)

Yes, It's been over a year since I have done a post, but I've been so busy getting the hang of this mommy thing. Bronson is now almost 14 months old and definately has a mind of his own( I have no idea where he gets that from). Paige will be entering 7th grade and Alex will be a Freshman!! These kids keep me super busy, but I love every minute of it. We have had a busy summer going to the beach, playing outside, visiting with some family and just chilling together...I'm not ready to start the school year yet! Bronson has loved getting to know his (you have no choice best friend), Wil. This might be my favorite picture of the boys so far!

Bronson Wesley Perkins is here!!!

Wow! What an eventful past couple of weeks. Sorry for the delay in posts, but I've been really busy with this new baby boy. Bronson arrived Friday, June 18th at 9:29 PM. He weighed 6 lbs 11 oz and was 21 inches long. We love him so much and he is growing and changing everyday!

Nursery

I think I may have the hardest working husband in the world right now. Not only did he go to his regular 7-5 job this week, but he also planted many acres of soybeans, AND painted and put together furniture for our nursery. I am very blessed. Check out our nursery!!! I think we are officially READY! Now! Please!

We're getting somewhere!!

I've had the best Mother's Day weekend! It started Saturday with my baby shower, followed by Saturday night when my family decided they would be productive and start changing rooms. Sunday was even more fun when I started moving Baby No Name Perkins' clothes into his closet. We ordered a crib, changing table, and dresser too and it should be here this week. So excited!!!!

Holy Baby Gifts!!!

We are still without a nursery for Baby No Name Perkins, but we have this wonderful bassinet to hold all of the gifts we have been getting. Both of my 4K classes gave me a surprise baby shower. I am one lucky mommy. My family has been working hard getting ready to throw me one more shower this weekend. It is a family tradition to make "baby booties" out of nut cups, marshmallows, and frosting. Last Saturday a few of my relatives got together and we made over 70 booties. It was hard work, but we felt accomplished afterwards. I received a phone call a few days later stating that my aunt's dog decided to eat 19 of the booties. I laughed, but she was a little upset. Good thing I'm a dog lover...I guess.

8 weeks to go....I'm so not READY!!!

There has been a little bit of panic at the Perkins home. We have been so busy remodeling our basement and are exhausted from it. However, we realized....we have not even started moving the kids around and creating a baby room. The only thing we have for baby "no name" Perkins is some clothes that have been given to us as gifts. His room currently looks like a young 10 year old girls bedroom. Here is some evidence to prove why we are starting to panic. It appears that Paige is in NO hurry to move out of her lime green with pink polka dot bedroom. Baby Perkins could possibly end up in my bed.......which would be just fine with me ;)
